Vice President Harris admires Marc Elias’ political lawfare techniques and on the first day of the Democratic National Convention, announced she would hire him, and his law firm, Elias Law Group, to help lead her legal team of over 7000 lawyers (over ten times the number of lawyers Joe Biden employed at this same point in his election cycle). Harris added, “We are prepared to fight former President Donald Trump and the Republicans over voting results.”
The Elias way to win an election includes suing anyone who supports, works for, or otherwise makes public statements supporting a conservative candidate, especially if that candidate is Donald J. Trump. Fortunate for conservatives, the left is upfront about its newfound skill of engaging its opponents and their supporters in political lawfare. Marc Elias is not the first lawyer to engage in this practice, but it’s a craft he has developed that helps him assure his Democrat clients that they will win every election every time.
As we look at Mr. Elias’ background, some of his underhanded tactics, and the election warfare he intends to engage in for the upcoming 2024 election, we ask God to give us a strategy for praying, not just for Mr. Elias, but also for fair and safe elections that will not allow our nation to disintegrate into chaos. We believe that our elections will be fair and honest, and the citizens of this nation will elect godly men and women who will lead our nation in righteousness.
Marc Elias proved that he would lie to win for his Democrat clients. He worked on the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and is famous for his hand in hiring Fusion GPS to produce the research that led to the salacious, unverified Steele dossier presented as evidence against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. Elias never faced charges related to his role in this “Russian collusion” hoax. When required to testify in a New York court about his part in the dossier, he learned that Donald Trump would never get a fair trial in a New York court and helped sway future Trump cases to the New York courts where Trump would be found guilty.
While at Perkins Coie law firm, Marc Elias worked on the 2020 Biden presidential campaign along with 600 other lawyers the campaign hired to handle liberal actions they felt disenfranchised Democrats, i.e., like voting drop boxes, states redistricting that did not favor Democrats, voter registration, voter signature verifications, and mail-in ballots. Elias also became the critical lawyer for the Democrat Committee. In 2023, the Biden team fired Marc Elias, citing disagreements with Elias’ legal strategies and strained personal relationships. Elias, somewhat of a loose cannon, wanted Democrats to enter a legal fight by filing multiple lawsuits on every possible front, a tactic that earned him the title of the man who will “Sue til it turns blue.” The Biden lawyers wanted a more strategic approach to combat what Biden called Republican “chicanery” that might take place before and during the election. They also did not like that Elias would file lawsuits and inform his colleagues afterward. The parting of ways with Perkins Coie allowed Elias to form his law firm, Elias Law Group.
With Marc Elias at the helm of the Harris presidential campaign effort, here’s what we can expect from Mr. Elias:
- We expect a flurry of lawsuits as Mr. Elias approaches the table with his win-at-any-cost anti-conservative agenda. His frequent outspoken attacks on Donald Trump are filled with hate and vitriol. In a recent interview with MSNBC, he stated that he knows that Donald Trump is guilty and is plotting his next crime to subvert the outcome of the 2024 election. Mr. Elias believes his job requires him to fight Donald Trump and anyone who assists in a Trump campaign.
- Should Donald Trump become President in 2024, Mr. Elias and his team intend to paralyze President Trump’s term in office with a continuous barrage of lawsuits.
- Mr. Elias and the other lawyers hired by the DNC will use lawfare as their weapon of choice, much like they did in the 2020 election. Elais sued the 65 lawyers representing the Trump administration, winning 64 cases. Many lawyers lost their livelihood when judges who assessed huge fines and revoked their law licenses.
- Mr. Elias expects one outcome in a lawsuit: the Democrat wins. Expect Marc Elias to shop for judges who favor Democrats before filing his case.
- Expect Mr. Elias and his lawyers to repeatedly refer to the legal process as his attempt to “Save Democracy.”
- As he did when he worked with the Biden presidential campaign in 2020, he will sue first and then let the accused look for the facts to prove innocence.
- He is motivated by money. In suing the lawyers who questioned the outcome of the 2020 election, he billed more than $20 million. One colleague remarked, “Marc has created a legal strategy he has convinced people is a political strategy, but it is actually a business strategy.”
- Mr. Elias intends to win at all costs and does not mind engaging in underhanded or illegal tactics, as he did with the Steele dossier.
- Expect lawsuits against states in decisions that do not favor Democrats.
- Expect lawsuits against anyone who attempts to limit or do away with voter drop boxes.
- Expect Marc Elias to be untruthful in this fight. All his efforts go toward the only real outcome—the Democrats win. In lawfare, all things are legal.
There is great power in a country’s legal system. That power can often surpass the power of an army, but it can never surpass the power of God. He, and He alone, is the one we appeal to guide our nation through this time of trouble.

One of my favorite scriptures is, 2nd Chronicles, 7:14. If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then will I forgive their sins and heal their land. There is power in prayer. Since that other party has been rattling off a number of lies, let President Trump simply state the truth in the debate. Similar to how Jesus dealt with the devil in Matthew 4, He did not address the accusations but stated what was written. President Trump can simply comment on the reality that has taken place over the last 4 years, i.e., high prices at the grocery store, utility bills (everything), wars, illegal immigrants, low employment, poor relations with adversaries, etc. Remind Ms. Harris of what the current administration has done and why would the American people think differently. Remind them of all the damage that was done on day 1 in signing the bills to stop our own oil refineries and give others control over our nation.
I believe in the first debate with Biden, God sent His angels to further confuse Mr. Biden’s reactions and responses. Let these angels and other army angel forces control the atmosphere to bring confusion into the enemy’s camp.
Father God, I bring to your remembrance Your Word in Isaiah 59:19: when the enemy comes in, like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall life up a standard against him.” Let this be an Elijah moment, where the false prophets are exposed and the lies that have been spoken

Thank you for this article. It will be helpful to many Christians in the warfare of “what we need to pray for & against”. Sadly, many churches, believers, etc. don’t know how or what to pray for. They still have a “business as usual” approach, not really understanding the type of war we are engaged in. Hopefully, with God’s help, they will enter the battle & pray for our nation.
Mr. Elias, with all his knowledge & skill, is the proverbial “bottom feeder” in law – except that he has upped his game so that he can benefit from the indirect siphoning of taxpayers money through other “connected individuals” in gov’t circles. It would be safe to say Elias is the ultimate piranha. He does not not hold to ethical standards, doesn’t care about people’s lives & has no tolerance or thirst for actual truth.
As Christians, please pray God’s word & promises over this ongoing situation & the man himself. He is steered by hell itself & doesn’t care.
Allow ourselves to pray in both conventional & unconventional ways as God leads us to. *Lord, we pray that despite superb skills in law & it’s use or misuse, we pray this minute for You to penetrate the heart & mind of Mr. Elias, the attorneys & staff that work with him & judges that will hear from him. Send ongoing 24/7 confusion into his law office & cases. Let nothing go smoothly for him. Place your angels in his way & in the way of all that work for/with him. We pray many consciences to be seared Lord & that it will cause many to abandon or quit working with him. Fight the lies & unfounded/made up accusations with an avalanche of truth. Expose compromise, fudging or twisting of facts & anything that stands against Your holy ways. We ask you to throw confusion into the camp of Kamala Harris just like you did with those building the Tower of Babel, break down their communication to where’s no agreement. We know they’re in panic mode on the left because You have caused that. You preserved Trump’s life and made a distinction between who are Yours and who are not. Precious Heavenly Father, we worship You alone, forgive us for allowing the progression of evil in our country, for we have not stood up against evil and professed Your truth to stop it. We are not fighting against our fellow man, we are fighting Satan himself and he is crafty and despicable. He is using Marc Elias to fight and we ask that You meet Marc and the 6000 lawyers that will work with him and thwart everything they attempt. Make them spin their wheels and in their endeavors glorify You as truths and righteousness are exposed. Raise up a Godly leader and bring forth a great revival in this nation! And I pray that Marc Elias would be a part of it, transform his heart and mind as You did Saul and bring him to fight on Your team! Lord, I ask this in Jesus’s Holy Name, Amen

Father, you are the Great I Am, and nothing is too great for you to be brought down. I lift up Mark Elias to you. Make his stony heart pliable so he can receive the power of your word. Bombard him day and night with your word thru any and all means. Give him one visitation after another and no rest until he comes to the realization that he must have Jesus in his heart, and he will call out to him to be his Lord and savior. Lord, there are many expectations. Yet, my expectation is that You will hear our cries for mercy. Lord, You see the threats of those who are opposed to justice, righteousness, holiness, and all that is good and right and true. May their threats turn back on themselves. Protect all those and their families whom lawyers wish to trample. Lord, many souls are lost. Their hearts have become very proud. May they humble themselves before a mighty God, before You humble them. Save America from this type of tyranny and lawfare. This “article” appears biased to Republican ideas and not God’s heart and mind. I’m newer to IFA, does IFA hold both sides (both parties) accountable to live a life pleasing to God? To lead people according to specific Word of God that intercessors can lean into?
This “article” needs proof of its statements, if possible, and needs to line up to the Word so we as intercessors can pray for this lawyer and the legal teams on BOTH sides.
Personally, this was a carnal minded article and prayer that remains stuck in the mudslinging. America needs more than that. They need a church who hears and understands and evokes the Spirit and Word of God. Please, let’s elevate. As the church of America goes, so goes the nation. America has been waiting on us to think, act, and speak with the true mind of Christ. Not mismatching Bible verse to fit OUR carnal agendas.

Lord, we thank you that your word reminds us not to be afraid and discouraged. As the enemy uses his people to work evil against this nation, you are using your people to work righteousness in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that you bring conviction upon these workers of iniquity and turn them toward repentance. We know that you do not wish for anyone to be separated from you so we ask that you save them. Soften their hearts so that their talents would be used for your glory and not their own.
