What about the dreaded, so-called “poppers nose,” (aka chemical burns in one's nostrils)? My advice to prevent this would be to inhale through your mouth. Just like a cigarette [without putting your lips on the bottle]. It bypasses actually going up through your nostrils and won't give you a headache.
